Join a team
Help us build it
This project belongs to the whole community, and it will only happen with the help of local people. Whatever your age, skills or spare time, there's a place for you on one of our teams. You don't need any experience, just a willingness to help.
Fundraising
Be involved in the campaign that raises the money we need to move the project forward. That means organising events, talking to local businesses and supporters, keeping households informed, and supporting our other volunteers. If you're good with people, social media or events, this is the team for you.
Design and Build
Help turn the plans into a real building and pitch. This team works with our architect and contractors, follows the planning conditions, helps with quotes and tenders, and keeps the work on track and to standard. Experience in building, engineering, project management or the trades is welcome, but not essential.
Finance
Help look after the community's money carefully and openly. This team keeps the accounts, tracks donations and pledges, supports grant applications and claims, and prepares reports for the board and funders. If you're good with numbers, bookkeeping or spreadsheets, we'd love to hear from you.
Centre Management
Help plan how the centre will run once it opens: bookings, opening hours, insurance, policies, and keeping it clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. This team helps make sure the centre serves clubs, schools and families for years to come.
Other
Don't see a team that suits you? You can still get involved. We're always looking for people to help out in whatever way they can. If you can manage social media, hold a brush, direct traffic, bake for an event, or have any other skill, there's a place for you.
